InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In October 2023, Indonesia re-got trade balance surplus. It was the 42nd month in a row within positive trend since May 2020. The surplus reached US$ 3,48 billion that consisted of non-oil and gas about US$ 5,31 billion and oil and gas deficit about US$ 1,84 billion. Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan said that the surplus trend would continue to the next period.

In his speech, he mentioned that palm oil profit sharing is integral part of transfer to region or transfer ke daerah (TKD) that would be allocated according to percentage on the revenue from the out fee or levy on palm oil, crude palm oil, and or its derivative products.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) reference price (RP) to decide out fee and tariff on Public Service Obligation Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) or known as levy on 16 - 30 November 2023 would be US$ 750,54/metric ton (MT). The numbers escalated US$ 1,61 or 0,22 percent from the previous period (1 - 15 November 2023) that was US$ 748,93/MT.
