InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In October 2023, Indonesia re-got trade balance surplus. It was the 42^nd month in a row within positive trend since May 2020. The surplus reached US$ 3,48 billion that consisted of non-oil and gas about US$ 5,31 billion and oil and gas deficit about US$ 1,84 billion. Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan said that the surplus trend would continue to the next period.

In his speech, he mentioned that palm oil profit sharing is integral part of transfer to region or transfer ke daerah (TKD) that would be allocated according to percentage on the revenue from the out fee or levy on palm oil, crude palm oil, and or its derivative products.

(ANJ) distributed sustainable palm oil sale within premium price for the plasma smallholders in Sub district of Angkola Selatan, District of South Tapanuli through Koperasi Tani Binasari with the total Rp 126.522.013. It was symbolically handed over to the representative of Koperasi Tani Binasari in the Club House ANJA Siais, South Tapanuli on 14 November 2023.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Chairman of Board of Supervisor Asosiasi Petani Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (Apkasindo), Moeldoko said that smallholders’ palm oil plantations in forest regions would be the main issue to get smallholders replanting program (SRP). By the midst of 2023, SRP realization just reached 56% of the firt target that should actually lay on 500 thousand hectares.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) reference price (RP) to decide out fee and tariff on Public Service Obligation Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) or known as levy on 16 - 30 November 2023 would be US$ 750,54/metric ton (MT). The numbers escalated US$ 1,61 or 0,22 percent from the previous period (1 - 15 November 2023) that was US$ 748,93/MT.
