InfoSAWIT, MEDAN – PT Multimas Nabati Asahan, a palm oil and derivative industry got a breakthrough by getting Tempat Penimbunan Berikat (TPB) Berkala permit from North Sumatera Customs.

To qualify every term and condition to get the permit, the company that produces palm cooking oil, shorterning, specialty fats, and some other derivative palm oil products, should clearly explain the business process to North Sumatera Customs. It was in the Aula Toba North Sumatera Customs, Friday (22/03).

Head of North Sumatera Customs, Parjiya said the TPB Berkala faciility handed over to the company would be very helpful for those in needs in TPB business. The facility would be about to deliver TPB documents in phase or in periodic that would accelerate logistic process, and product entry or exit. Besides by having the facility, it is hoped that the company’s document administration would be better, faster, and more efficient.

“By having TPB Berkala facility, the company would easily manage the logistic and administration documents. We do hope this would help it to minimize production cost but escalate efficiency. The larger impacts should be positively contributing for industrial development in this country and the competition in the globe,” Parjiya said as InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of Customs, Wednesday (27/3/2024).

He continued, publishing the permit is also the roles and function of Customs as the helper for industrial assistance and trade facilitator. “We are committed to create conducive business environment for the industries in this country and publishing and handling over TPB Berkala permit would be the real evidence from our support,” he said.
