InfoSAWIT, BEKASI – For the third time, the scholarship program of Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Teknis Kebun Kelapa Sawit equal to Diploma 1 (D1), within the support from Palm oil Plantation Fund Management Agency in cooperation with Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Citra Widya Edukasi (Poltek Kelapa Sawit CWE) graduated the students (participants) who are competent in palm oil plantation for the foreman level.

Of 100 students, more than 50% or about 54 participants could directly work in palm oil plantation nationally. 35 of them work in Citra Borneo Indah Group and 17 work in Bumitama Gunajaya Agro Group.

Director of Poltek Kelapa Sawit CWE, Stevanus Nugroho Kristantoro said that in this year, the technical education and training in palm oil plantation equal D1 have certificate of profession after doing field practice and followed up by the competency test.

This, he continued, is to ensure that the graduates have competence in palm oil sector. The competency test was done in cooperation with Lembaga Sertifikat Profesi Perkebunan Hortikultura Indonesia (LSP-PHI).

“The competence test is equal to the foreman competence test in palm oil plantation. Everyone passed it,” Nugroho said in the spare time of the III Graduation Day, Program Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Teknis Kebun Sawit equal to D1 in Bekasi, West Java, recently.(T2)
