InfoSAWIT, BANDUNG – Supported by the main palm oil plantations about  218,409 hectares (ha), and the plasma plantations about 66.615 ha, the fresh fruit bunch (FFB) of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk., reached about 5,7 million tons or increased about 10,2% compared to those in 2017.

The numbers were equal to the increasing crude palm oil (CPO) production which reached 1,9 million tons or increased about 18,5% compared to it in  2017 which reached 1,6 million tons.

According to what InfoSAWIT got from the official information of the company, Friday (15/2/2019), in 2018 the kernel production reached 420.900 tons but in the previous year, it was about 356.600 tons.

In the downstream sector, the company produced 327.600 tons of Olein in 2018 or increased 16,1% from 2017 which reached 282.200 tons. Palm Kernel Oil decreased 38,2% from it in 2017.

Besides the CPO trade also got good work which increased 4 times or about 83.000 tons in 2017 to be 375.000 tons in 2018. The cow breeding business also got the good work, which is, from 1300 cows in 2017 to be 10.061 cows in 2018. (T2)
