InfoSAWIT, KUMAI HILIR – The subsidiary of Bumitama Gunajaya Agro (BGA) Group, PT Andalan Sukses Makmur (ASMR), which is the palm oil plantation company was trusted by the regional government of West Kotawaringin to construct the way about 9,2 Km in Kelurahan Kumai Hilir (seberang) to Village of Sungai Bedaun.

The way construction was inaugurated by the Regent of West Kotawaringin and it was planned to be finished on 31 January 2019.

The construction covered, such as, the way widening from 7 meters to be 20 meters, the trench making in the right and left side of the way and the way hardening using laterite.

The 9,2 km - construction spent about Rp 4,8 billion. It was supported by the local sub district, villages, and the villagers who voluntarily granted their areas to construct the way. In the recent official statement of the company to InfoSAWIT, there were some spots where some of the villagers’ houses should be fallen down voluntarily.

“By the way construction, PT ASMR hoped that there would be increasing economy for the villagers and there would be electricity in Kumai Seberang,” the company mentioned.

The ceremony to hand over the construction was done by PT ASMR which was represented by Zaenal Mustofa, as the Corporate Affair Central Kalimantan of BGA Group to the regent of West Kotawaringin, Hj. Nurhidayah. It was the access belonging to the regional government, starting from Kelurahan of Kumai Hilir (seberang) – Village of Sungai Bedaun – Village of Sungai Pulau. (T2)
