InfoSAWIT, NUSA DUA –In the Indonesian Palm Oil Conference (IPOC) 2018 & 2019 Price Outlook, Chairman of Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA), Joko Supriyono thanked the President, Presiden Joko Widodo to attend and inaugurated the event officially.

"The support of the President in palm oil sector is massive. This is shown from the policies that support this sector, including to increase the productivity and the smallholders’ replanting program,” Joko said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Monday (29/10/2018).

Joko Supriyono also told that the other support from the government is the mandatory program, B20, developing the new countries to export, and human resources development in many universities. “There was never a President of Indonesia walked alone and directly planted palm oil tree,” he said.

IPOA appreciated the government for being active to campaign palm oil industries to the foreign countries, namely the exporter ones. “Mr. President always protects the industries from every trade barriers, namely in Europe and United States of America,” he said.

The palm oil production in Indonesia reached 42 million tons and 30 millions of those would be exported. So the B20 mandatory program, Joko Supriyono continued, would be ready. Having the numbers of the stock, biodiesel program would never be difficult to get the material.(T2)
