InfoSAWIT, LABUHANBATU – Research and Development Agency (RDA), District of Labuhanbatu in cooperation with Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (PPKS) socialized the usage of qualified palm oil seeds.
It was done by making display of superior seeds produced by PPKS and the derivative products in the stand of RDA Labuhanbatu in the Investment and Product Expo.
“We need to socialize the usage of good and superior seeds for the people’s palm oil areas,” said Head of RDA Labuhanbatu Hobol Rangkuti, Thursday (19/10), as quoted fromMedanbisnisdaily.com.
He also mentioned, the people’s palm oil areas should be in replanting program. It is suggested to plant qualified and certified seeds.
In PPKS, there are 8 varieties, such as, Dumpy, SP540, Yangambi.
"In Labuhanbatu, what PPKS has developed is good to cultivate,” officer of PUP PPKS Mahfiardi said. (T3)
