InfoSAWIT, BANJARMASIN – The member of South Kalimantan Legislators, Imam Suprastowo suggested to be more careful before buying palm oil seeds to plant.

He said, the smallholders should buy the certified ones from the official institutions. Plantation Agency always publishes Surat Perintah Pembelian Benih Kelapa Sawit (SP2BKS). “Buy the seeds from the recommended institutions to get the certified ones,” he said, as quoted from prokal.co.

To differentiate the superior seeds, he who is also the Secretary of Commission II in Economy and Treasury, is difficult for it might be in the same performance. The uncertified seeds are the ones have no source of the seeds.

He contiued, on 11 September 2017, his side and the police found 10 thousand fake palm oil seeds that would be sold out of the province. It was planned to be sold in East Kalimantan.

“They were fromDistrict of Tala and had been in the boat to be brought to East Kalimantan. But the police successfully failed the activity and we checked there and would be demolished,” he said. (T3)
