InfoSAWIT, MUBA –Regional government of Musi Banyuasin (Muba), South Sumatera Province would cooperate to develop palm oil with Felleskjopet Agri, Norway.

Regent of Muba, Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin,accompanied by Head of Plantation Agency, Muba, Iskandar,andHead of Regional Development Plan Agency, Muba, Yusuf Amilin accepted the visit of Felleskjopet Agri that is one biggest company in union sector in Norway, in the Meeting Room of the Regent, last Wednesday.

"We commit to develop palm oil. Hopefully, the cooperation would be intensively running and in the long term with the unions of Norway,” Regent of Muba, Dodi,in the meeting, as quoted fromrmol.

He also hoped, Felleskjopet Agri could be the way of communication about the commitment and the efforts from what the stakeholders have done in Muba.

In the same chance, CEO Felleskjopet Agri, John Arne also mentioned, the goal to Muba was to see and know directly about the palm oil development.

“We want to directly see the practices that have been done, both by the smallholders and the companies, and also the commitment of Muba so that we could tell about anything to Europe,” John said. (T3)
