InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA –According to the Decision of Secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) No. 254 K/10/DJE/2017 about the Decision of Business for Vegetable Fuel, Biodiesel and the Volume Allocation for Biodiesel, in PT. Pertamina (Persero) and PT. AKR Corporindo TBK in May – October 2017, there are 19 biodiesel producers (companies) having contracts to Palm oil Plantation Fund Managementt Agency (PFMA) in the period.

The total allocation volume of Biodiesel from the 19 producers would be about  1,350 million kiloliters for PT. Pertamina (Persero) and 24.000 kiloliters for PT AKR Corporindo.

The volume was decided based on the national diesel need in the period. The sectors getting the fund are the sectors in public service obligation and electricity.

Director of Fund Disbursement, PFMA, Edi Wibowo said, the cooperation of biodiesel procurement through the CPO fund has something to do with the full support from many sides, especially General Directorate of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conversion, Ministry of EMR, PT. Pertamina (Persero), PT. AKR Corporindo Tbk.

“We also appreciate 19 biodiesel companies on their role to advantage vegetable fuel through the incentive of CPO fund. This supports the new palm oil market that in the end, it could increase the stable CPO price, based on the Presidential Regulation No. 61/2015,” Edi said.(T2)
