InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA–One palm oil plantation company in District of Nagan Raya, PT Surya Panen Subur (SPS) declared to do its maximal to prevent the fire.

Community Development Officer (CDO) PT SPS, Anas Muda Siregar said, his side is fully aware of the fire 24/7 in two borders, such as, with PT Gelora Sawita Makmur (GSM) and PT Kalista Alam though the areas of SPS have not hotspot.

“This is done in order to prevent, the fire in the two ‘neighborhood’ companies would not fire the plantation business right (PBR) inPT SPS. ‘Alhamdulillah’, there is no fire in PBR of PT SPS," Anas recently said in the press release.

Besides, ‘tim kesiapsiagaan dan tanggap darurat (TKTD’ in PT SPS also helps to extinguish the fire in PT Kalista Alam and PT GSM by passing through the alternative way to reach the hotspot.

“We do our best to prevent the fire, such as, doing morning meeting of fire care, inaugurating the TKTD, and the simulation of preventing the fire,” he said. (T3)
