InfoSAWIT, SANGGAU -  Manager of ‘Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD)’ Sawit Permai, in Sub district of Tayan Hulu, which is the partner of PTPN XIII, Heriyanto did not deny that the company postponed to pay the salary of the employees.

“Yes, it is late to pay their salary. It was paid for about 50 percent only. For the KUD, the salary is paid on 20^th  or 21^st in every month. But the ideal is on 10^th. The company slowly runs the business,” he recently said, as quoted from tribunpontianak.co.id.

So he hoped, it would not happen again for the employees have their rights, salary and should be paid on time. “What would happen if the salary is late to pay? What will they eat?” he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of KUD Mekar Sari, Village of Melobok, Sub district of Meliau which is also the partner of PTPN XIII, Kancilkus told, until now, PTPN XIII has paid the employees. But it is not given in a whole. “They paid only May salary. The salary in June and July has not been paid. To the partners of KUD, the salary is paid on 20^th of each month,” he said.(T3)
