InfoSAWIT, MUARABULIAN –Asistant III, Regional Secretariat of Jambi Province, Farizal said, there are lots of companies operating their business though they have no complete licenses, including the plantation business license (PBL). The areas cultivated have been reaching thousands of hectares. “The companies cultivate their areas starting from 300-15.000 hectares," he said.

The companies  might have no PBL are PT Rano Geragai Sejahtera within1.000 hectares, PT Inti Citra Agung within 7.800 hectares, PT Mandiri Tegar Abadi within 6.000 hectares, PT Pratama Agro Sawit within 591,47 hectares.

"PT Pratama Inter Cipta within 2.613 hectares, PT Jamin Sawit Abadi within 1.343 hectares, PT Cakrawala Agrindo Kencana within 3.000 hectares," he said.

Then, PT Taramitra Indo Sejahtera within 200 hectares, PT Darma Indah Sejahtera within 15.000 hectares, PT Ayu Bumi Sejahtera within 2.990 hectares, PT Puring Agro Makmur within 1.800 hectares, Koperasi Berkah Bersatu and Koperasi Tuah Bersatu within 2.000 hectares, PT Jambi Lampura Seberang within 331 hectares,and PT Rimba Sawit Mas within 4.500 hectares."The team assigns the Assitant Team to discipline the companies faster based on the available regulations,” he claimed.

Based on the Regional Regulation No. 2 / 2011, the team would discipline the companies on 12 August. “It would be done by getting the input from the Livestock and Plantation Agency,” he said as quoted from tribunjambi.com.

In the other place, Public Relation of PT Pratama Agro Sawit, Heri when being confirmed said, the company running plantation sector has its PBL. “We got it last year and there are new areas about 500 hectaresmore in Sub district of Maro Sebo Ilir," he said. (T3)
