InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk (UNSP) could not get the good financial work for it still has decreasing income. The net loss of UNSP is even three times bigger.

The management hoped, there would be improvement in the second semester in this year. “In addition, based on the cycle, palm oil production could be in the peak in every second semester of the year,” Director and Investor Relations UNSP, Andi W. Setianto said in his official statement.

So far, UNSP could produce 35 tons of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) in every one hectare area of the company. The CPO extraction is only 23%. It means, UNSP could produce 8 tons of CPO per year per hectare. “We are optimist, in the middle and long term, the company would raise and find the best moment and would have the fundamental of strong and good business,” Director of UNSP,  M. Iqbal Zainuddin said.(T3)
