InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA -Director of PT UnggulWidyaTeknologi Lestari, Tjokro Putra Wibowo said, the palm oil areas for the practice will make the students easier to manage and cultivate palm oil areas.

Tjokro also mentioned, his side has monitored and directly seen the palm oil areas to the practice. It needs to improve the quality so that the quality of the practice field could be the same in the companies’ areas. “The palm oil areas would be the place to practice. It needs to improve the condition of the areas based on the Good Agricultural Practices,” Tjokro who is also as the Vice General Secretary of Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA) said.

He also did not deny that the field practice could be done in the areas of the companies. But if it is for daily practice, and to implement the theory, it is too far if they practice out of Java Island.

The areas will make the students of Poltek CWE easier to learn about palm oil cultivation for “It is near to have practice in Subang rather than in the companies’ areas,” he recently said in Bekasi.(T2)
