InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Scholarship registration of Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food 2024 is available now. It would be for 45 young talented ones that graduated from high, vocational, and religious schools from this country to study in diploma 3 (D3) at Institut Teknologi dan Sains Bandung (ITSB). Besides offering opportunity to study out of charge, the scholarship program would deliver chances to work at Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food.
Ther would be two optional programs in Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food 2024 scholarship, such as, SMART Agro for plantation program and SMART Mills for industry program. The participants would get integrated education from the academy in the campus or industrial practitioners. The scholarship would be about to get agribusiness human resources that are smart and skillful to face the dynamic challenging era.
Head of Learning and Development Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food, Dodi Mulyanto said that by 2023 there were 623 students that got scholarship from the company. They did get much benefit, such as, full education costs, living costs per semester, chances to get internship in the plantations of the company, and career opportunity after graduating their education for the best ones.
“In their study, the participants would get not only materials in classroom but also field work and internship in the company. These are about to escalate their technical skills, adapt with the work culture, develop their management and leadership. After graduating, they would have chances to work directly as assistants in the subsidiary of the company,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT recently.
Dodi also mentioned the scholarship would take young talented generations not to develop their will in agribusiness but also contribute to develop Indonesia in plantation sectors. “We would optimize every potential in agribusiness sector. This is the same with the scholarship theme, which is, Merajut Asa, Membangun Bangsa, Jelajah Indonesia,” he said.
One that got scholarship from Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food in 2019, Yayan Sutisna said that science and experiences he got when studying would be very useful in his work. He who studied Teknologi Pengolahan Sawit program study at ITSB is now working at Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food as mill assistant at Sungai Kikim Mill, District of Lahat, South Sumatera Province.
“I got many about palm oil industries. I learnt not only theories in the class but got field experiences when having field practices in the plantations of the company. These experiences really helped me to work now. I have to confirm the quality of palm oil process at Sungai Kikim Mill,” Yayan said.
He also told he is proud of himself for directly starting his career at Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food after studying and getting the scholarship. He was glad that his skills supported him to provide food and environmental fuel for the people of Indonesia and other countries “I do hope scholarship program would always be running to deliver chances for young generations to get higher education,” the young man from District of Kampar, Riau Province said.
Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food 2024 scholarship would take more young generations to realize their dreams. This would be available until 31 March 2024. Besides for them who graduated from higher schools, the main terms and conditions to get scholarship are, maximally 20 years of age, height 165 cm; not color blind totally or partially.
