InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – To map new areas, Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) launched certification, trade and traceability system (CTTS) in October 2023 by establishing tripartite consortium that consisted of agricultural technology experts in the globe. This would be the example how the organization would get traceability go forward and digitalized.

This was from the best  solutions in the sectors that would qualify nowadays needs, anticipate the future needs that develop fast, qualify the regulations in the globe that would be close that started from European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and actively involve in with European Commission to share knowledge about the topics with every related party.

Director Assurance RSPO, Aryo Gustomo said that the system would require everything needed in sustainable palm oil practices, such as, information accuracy to get the right data, for instance, the locations of plantations, the blocks of plantations, and transaction credits.

“CTTS would deliver more complete data accuracy to be the answer of every challenge,” he said in a press conference that InfoSAWIT attended, Tuesday (21/11/2023) in Jakarta.

The making of the tools would consider many aspects. The project had been implemented few months ago. “RSPO also identified everything needed in the tools and we keep working to involve other software programmers. The forms and system would always be developing,” he said. (T2)
