1.870 Companies Did Self-Reporting through Siperibun

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - 1.870 palm oil plantation companies participated in self-reporting to support and improve palm oil plantation / industrial governance through Sistem Informasi Perizinan Perkebunan (Siperibun).

Coordinator Minister in Maritime and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan appreciated the program and told that what the companies have done showed their commitment to implement transparency and obedience to improve palm oil governance that the government has been doing.

The Taskforce of Improving Palm Oil Governance and Optimizing The Revenue that the government established would monitor palm oil plantations development in Indonesia. The taskforce implements self-reporting through Siperibun.

It would deliver chances for the companies to actively report and renew every information about their palm oil governance. The data gathered would be from 3 July to 3 August 2023. The data would be the basic evaluation for the next report.

“Data uploaded through self-reporting would help the government to monitor and escalate palm oil industries in Indonesia,” Pandjaitan said, as InfoSAWIT quoted from Antara, Friday (4/8/2023).

He also appreciated the companies for taking part and delivering their accurate and complete information through Siperibun.

Some documents to upload and fulfill by the company in the application are location permit, plantation business permit, business rights, and spatial maps and should be uploaded to the application. Information about plantation realization would be important part that the company should inform. (T2)
