InfoSAWIT, DENPASAR – To reject negative issues about palm oil in many schools and to realize palm oil promotion, Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) in cooperation with Sport, Youth, and Education Agency Bali Province and Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) Bali Province conducted Palm Oil EduTalk “Kupas Tuntas Mitos dan Fakta Tentang Kelapa Sawit” in the midst of June 2023 online.

Head of Teacher Development and Educational Staff, Sport, Youth and Education Agency Bali Province, I Gede Ketut Seputera said, the teachers could be motivators and PGRI as facilitators while the student could get good and objective information about palm oil to get a very good synergy.

Chairman of PGRI Bali Province, I Komang Arta Saputra said he knew palm oil is the material to produce oil only but, in the future, the young and future generations could be entrepreneur to produce palm oil derivative products. “Many entrepreneurs in Bali are successful with and from palm oil products,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT recently.

Director of PT Astungkara Sukses Makmur (Official Distributor Bali Soap), Mahendra Wijayanto said that palm oil is chosen as materials to produce derivative products because it is economical, easy to be produced, stable quality, has multifunction, and sustainable.

Mahendra said, as one important material to produce health care and cosmetic products, from research result it is known that the substance and roles of palm oil could be used to rejuvenate skin, full of anti-oxidant, has vitamin E, get healthy hair, it does not make dependency, full of provitamin A, anticaking agent.
