InfoSAWIT, BOYOLALI – PT Biomassa Lestari Nusantara (BLN), the joint venture company between PT Dharma Energi Investama, the subsidiary of PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) and PT Sumitomo Forestry Indonesia, the subsidiary of Sumitomo Forestry Co. It was part of the project to map palm oil plantations in Malaysia. The data can be seen through GeoPALM MPOB portal that covered 85 percent organized smallholders and 88 percent plantations in Semenanjung, Malaysia.

The latest data from Eurostat revealed biodiesel imports from China just reached 9.835 metric ton (MT) in July, significantly got decreased from 109.457 MT in the previous month. The numbers would be the lowest one since April 2021.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Chairman of Serikat Petani Kelapa Sawit (SPKS), Sabarudin did welcome the decision of the government to increase smallholders replanting fund (SRP) fund to be Rp 60 million per hectare. In his statement, he said that this would be the same with what SPKS calculated. He thought, the smallholders that joined SPKS, Rp 30 million per hectare was not enough to optimally implement SRP.

This could happen even though palm oil stock in Malaysia got increased up to 1,88 million tons in August 2024 – the highest level in the past semester. It happened for the increasing seasing production and the decreasing exports.
