InfoSAWIT, WEST PAPUA – Referring to the Food Plantation, Horticulture, and Plantation Agency of West Papua province, the first planting of palm oil variety, DxP Simalungun to the smallholders’ replanting program (SRP) reaching about 344,5 hectares (ha) in District of Manokwari was officially running.

It was directly inaugurated by the Regent of Manokawari in SP 3 Prafi, District of Manokwari, West Papua province, Friday (31/01/2020) by planting the seeds.

For information, General Directorate of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture targeted that West Papua should do SRP for about 1.000 ha of the total potential plantations to do SRP reaching 5000 ha. (T2)
