InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In the recent days ministry of agriculture did Anti-corruption Day or Hari Anti Korupsi (Hakordia) within the theme “Satu Dasawarsa WBK: Satu Asa, Satu Cipta, Satu Karsa Bersama Wujudkan Lumbung Pangan Dunia 2045” in the hall of ministry of agriculture, Ragunan, in the midst of December 2019.

This was one effort of the ministry to prevent corruption by supporting Wilayah Bebas dari Korupsi (WBK).

In the last two years, ministry of agriculture got the best award as the institution/ministry that could manage the gratification. Preventing the corruption is consistently done in the last ten years. “We agree to fight for the corruption,” Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) emphasized.

He thought that this is the way to unite the thought and heart to say not to corruption both in the leader and officer level in ministry of agriculture. That is why he asked that the general inspectorate to monitor every policy in the ministry.

“I do know about monitoring and supervision because I am a doctor in supervision. I had ‘clear and clean’ status when being the governor. Southeast Sulawesi got the best rank (in the financial report),” he said.

Meanwhile among the figures getting the award in HAKORDIA is the Chairman of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) Secretariat, Azis Hidayat who is taken to maintain the institution away from corruption.

Azis was thankful for being the figure who got the award as Tokoh  Penggerak Pembangunan Wilayah Bebas dari Korupsi (WBK) in the ministry of agriculture – from the Minister of Agriculture Indonesia in the World Anti-corruption Day, 2019. Hopefully, the WBK remains sustainable in the ministry of agriculture,” he recently said.

He also thanked Minister of Agriculture, SYL who is firmly committed to prevent the corruption by the WBK program which was proposed by general inspectorate of ministry of agriculture in 2009 until now. It has been running for 10 years. (T2)
