InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Referring to Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA), the crude palm oil (CPO) price showed the increasing trend since July 2019 and became US$ 680/ton CIF Rotterdam.
Besides it is winter, the fat and oil are more expensive, this happened for the decreasing stock of its production and the concern of the lack of CPO exports from Indonesia to be used for energy.
Meanwhile the CPO exports from Indonesia to India drastically increased about 51% in September 2019 compared to the previous month to be 481 thousand tons. India re-increased the CPO imports from Indonesia because the changing import duty policy to Indonesia which becomes the same one for CPO produced by Malaysia and South Asia countries. (T2)
