InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The alternative usage in palm oil-base or famously known as biodiesel is very potential to be developed as biodiesel 100% (B100).

Minister of Agriculture, Amran Sulaiman said that the alternative energy from palm oil is now fully developed. It means, it is developed without mixing the diesel in fossil – base.

“We have mixed B100 and it is good. It is been used to vehicles up to 3000 km and there is engine problem,” he said in the breaking the fasting together with the staffs of Ministry of Agriculture within the theme ‘Pererat Ukhuwah Islamiah di Era Industri 4.0’ where InfoSAWIT did attend, Monday (27/5/2019) in Jakarta.

The interesting one is, he continued, palm oil could save the exchange up to 13% and this could support the economy of the country. Besides its material is available because Indonesia is the palm oil producer country.

General Director of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, Kasdi Subagyono said that palm oil is always pushed to be used. It is about to run B30 and there would be crude palm oil (CPO) absorption up to 3 to 4 million tons. “The B20 implementation still absorbs about 6,2 million kl,” he said. (T2)
