InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU– Based on Civil Organization,Independen Pembawa Suara Pemberantas Korupsi, Kolusi, and Kriminal Ekonomi (IPSPK3), Mora, said, there are some companieshaving no business licence (BL), and the forest release permit from Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MEF). So Duta Palma Group should deal with the licenses and the people argue about it. The assumption raised after the organization investigated it.

“It is predicted, the areas that PT Duta Palma Group cultivates are about 40.000 hectaresin Riau province. The environment organization got the input that the company might have some of the areas (18.000 hectares)and might have no BL, and forest area release from Ministry of Enviornment and Forestry,” Ganda said some time ago, as quoted from Okeonline.com.

He also said, there are four companies of Duta Palma Group (PT Panca Agro Lestari, Palma 1, Banyu Bening Utama, Siberida Subur) andthe areas are in Village of Pesaguhan, Sibrida, Inhu that only has plantation license from the Regent.

"The company has constructed palm oil factory and they are in harvest. But about 18.000 hectareshave no BL. The company has plantation license, but has no forest area release from MEF,” he said.

He predicted, the company did not pay the taxes of PBHTB, income tax, value added tax, the retribution on the land, and the loss of the country from the taxes on the forest that the company has cut.

The organization also claimed, the big scale company has no corridor permit to dig the ditch, constructed the electricity non PLN in big scale, and always has issue with the local people.

Vice Director of PT Duta Palma, Anto Wetanwhen being confirmed through his phone, had no word to say. (T3)
