InfoSAWIT, BAGANSIAPIAPI –Environment Agency, District of Rokan Hilir (Rohil) as the institution validating the environmental issue, Thursday (14/9)had two palm oil factories (POFs) to meet about the environmental issue to discuss the environmental process and the effort to monitor the environment itself.

The two POFs were PT Anugerah Agro Sawit Perkasa (AASP) in Village of Meranti Jaya Kepenghuluan, Bagansinembah Jaya, Sub district of Bagansinembah Raya, and PT Cipta Agro Sejati (CAS) in Village of Ampean Rotan, Kepenghuluan Kota Parit, Sub district of Simpang Kanan.

The meeting was directly led by Head of Environment Agency, Rohil, Suwandi, S.Sos  and was attended by some sides, and related instances to question about the permit of both factories, and the operational.

Surpricingly, the two factories that have been operating for too long have disadvantages, both to the people and the other licences to the  related instances.

POF of AASP itself which has been operating since 2003, as what Arlen explained - the consultant of AASP, said, the ownership of the company has been changed since the last four months. The previous owner was PT PT Sawit Leidong Jaya.

In this case, Arlen Hanalzon as the consultant of both factories told the condition of the two companies and would obey the available regulations in the license and operational systems.

He also promised, his side would complete the minor of the companies based on the input and critics. “The documents of environment is as one guidance for the companies to manage the environment so that in the future, there would no be pollution,” he said, as quoted from Riau24.com.(T3)
