InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA –Palm oil Draft faces two different opinions, from those who agree and reject. But actually, the Legislators should get the reference of the consitition for the Draft and get more special material to regulate. They should not take the available regulations.

Through the initiative of the Legislators, Palm oil Draft becomes the National Legislation Program. Though some sides reject it, but it has sociological, phylosophical, and jurisdictional questions.

The first, does not sustainable palm oil development violate the human rights? If it is needed, is the Draft the answer?

The second, there are kinds of plantation but why does palm oil attrack the attention the most? It is an idol compared to coffee, spices, coconut, and fruit. There will be question, why is not Coffee Draft for it is popular now? Or why is not Spices Draft that becomes the characteristic in this country?

The third, will it be the resolution of conflict? Palm oil plantation has the highest intencity of agrarian conflict. The agrarian conflicts in the plantation cover spatial, land, partnership, and the price decision produced by the smallholders.
