InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Member of Commission VII Indonesian Legislators from Fraksi PKS, Mulyanto told immoral practices in the government. He thought it needs transparency and accountability to manage every resource in national scale particularly about mining permit and palm oil area business rights.
He also urged Corruption Eradication Commission (CEC) to investigate Minister of Investment and Head of Investment Coordination Agency, Bahlil Lahadalia. Bahlil is suspected to get involved in authority abuse by revoking and re-activating mining permit and palm oil plantation business rights in some regions in Indonesia.
Mulyanto thought, Bahlil revoking and republishing permits, might have something to do with financial feedback that could be million rupiah or even by delivering stocks in related companies. It is important for CEC to investigate Bahlil to serve the justice and law enforcement.
As InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of PKS, Monday (4/3/3024), Mulyanto thought there are job abuses between Ministry of Investment and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource. He said the authority that should be dominantly dealt by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, particularly in mining, was taken over by Ministry of Investment. This showed inconsistency and potential to raise conflict of interest and would be the loss for mining ecosystem in national scale.
He also thought the task force establishment led by Bahlil, namely heading to president election 2024 was suspicious. The task force might be part of legal act to get fund in political interests. This also threatens the sovereignty in natural resource advantages.
It means, Mulyanto was sorry for non-ethical practices in the government. It needs firm action to confirm integrity and transparency in natural resource cultivation nationally. (T2)
