InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – To implement the Third Decision of the Decision of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resource (MEMR) Number 146.K/HK.02/DJE/2021 abuot Market Index Price of Vegetable Fuel – Biodiesel which is mixed to Diesel Fuel as it is substituted to be the Decision of MEMR Number 21.K/HK.02/DJE/2023, in association with the information from General Directorate of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conversion, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource decided numbers of crude palm oil (CPO) conversion to be biodiesel, which is, US$ 85 per ton. It means, market index price of biodiesel in June 2023 would be Rp 10.234 per liter added by transportation costs and would be effective since 1 June 2023.

Editorials of InfoSAWIT noticed, market index price of biodiesel gets cheaper Rp 1.259/liter compared to May 2023 which CPO conversion to be biodiesel was US$ 85/MT. It means, market index price of biodiesel in May 2023 was Rp 11.493/liter added by transportation cost.

General Director of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conversion, Dadan Kusdiana said by having cooperation among the government, industries, and other related stakeholders, it is hoped biodiesel mandatory program would significantly deliver advantages to energy security nationally. “And could minimize the negative impacts for the environment from energy sector,” he recently said to InfoSAWIT.
