InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - The increasing fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price as the result of increasing crude palm oil (CPO) price in the globe encouraged many farmers to substitute their plantations to be palm oil.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – To escalate non-oil and gas exports, Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan did some strategies by opening market access globally by having international trade discussion, such as, signing Indonesia-United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic  Partnership Agreement (CEPA) on 1 July 2022, inaugurating the Regulation about Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and inaugurating the Regulation about Indonesia-Korea CEPA on 30 August 2022.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The members of Serikat Petani Kelapa Sawit (SPKS) in District of Sekadau, West Kalimantan Province did audit of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate. They are from Koperasi Persada Engkesik Lestari in Village of Engkesik, Sub district of Sekadau Hilir, District of Sekadau and consist of about 200 members within about 300 hectares of palm oil plantations.

InfoSAWIT, MEDAN – Independent smallholders’ fresh fruit bunch (FFB) gets cheaper from the cheaper crude palm oil (CPO) on Monday which was only Rp 10.700/kg. To InfoSAWIT, some independent smallholders told, their FFB gets cheaper from Rp 50/kg to Rp 130/kg  

InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – According to Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Price Team, and FFB Documents of Riau Province No. 38 on 28 September - 4 October 2022, it is decided that the 10 – 20 year old FFB is getting better Rp 57,09/Kg to be Rp 2.475,15/Kg.

But the total exports from Indonesia could be much less in 2022 than the prediction that reached 33,7 million tons because of the previous lockdown, as quoted from Reuters.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) price at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange decreased almost 7% on Monday (26/9/2022) because of the cheaper other vegetable oil price when many concern about global recession and the warning of advance analysts that predicted, CPO could be cheaper 30% until the late of this year because of abundant supply but decreasing demands.
