InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – According to Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Team of South Sumatera Province in the second period - January 2024 (16 - 31 January 2024), decided on Thursday, 18 January 2024, the 10 – 20 year old FFB is increasing Rp 58,1/Kg to be Rp 2.356,15/Kg. The next meeting would be on Monday, 12 February 2024.

The numbers increase US$ 28,24 or 3,78 percent from on 1–15 January 2024 that was USD 746,69/MT.
Agrarian Conflicts in Indonesia Increased 12 Percent: Dominated by Palm Oil Plantations
InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Konsorsium Pembaruan Agraria (KPA) mentioned that agrarian conflicts in Indonesia escalated 12% in 2023, or about 241 conflicts increased from the previous year. In the end year report of 2023 that was released in South Jakarta, Monday (15/1), KPA identified that plantations were the main sources of conflicts within palm oil business as the main cause.

By 2023, SRP Realization Covered 306 Thousand Hectares

The initiative covered area allocation that laid about 306.486 hectares for 134.770 smallholders within fund distribution about Rp 8,5 trillion. SRP is the significant thing to develop palm oil plantations nationally with the fund support from Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA).
