JAKARTA – To re-run palm oil – cow integrated program, the government through Ministry of Agriculture will support it which once stopped. Director General of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, Gamal Nasir mentioned, the program was hit by some regulations, such as, a plantation company could not run business diversification beside plantation. The Regulation of Minister of Agriculture No. 98/2013 has widely given chance so that the palm oil – cow program can be run on. It is possible to do diversification, such as, breeding cows. “The regulation has given possibility,” he recently said to InfoSAWIT in Jakarta. Gamal continued, the program is also to run cow sefl-producing so that there is no more “no cow” in the domestic market. “We keep coordinating with Director General of Animal, Ministry of Agriculture,” he ended his words.
