InfoSAWIT, PONTIANAK – According to Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Team of West Kalimantan Province in the first period - July 2024 (to pay FFB on 1 - 7 July 2024), the 10 – 20 year old FFB is getting better Rp 3,22/kg to be Rp 2.746,92/Kg.

It was joined by 85 participants from Regency of West Aceh and Nagan Raya. It was a five day – training that started from 1 to 5 July 2024 at Grand Nangroe Hotel, Banda Aceh.

InfoSAWIT, KUALA LUMPUR - FGV Holdings Bhd delivered announcement to change recruitment costs for migrant workers that was paid for the third parties. The program would deliver re-fund for the ex-workers that came from Nepal, India, and Bangladesh that worked since September 2018 and December 2022. Besides, the scheme would cover the former workers from the countries that worked since January 2023 and did not work anymore before 2024.

InfoSAWIT, GHANA – On Wednesday (3/7/2024) Vice President Candidate of Congo from National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang donated GHC 50.000 (equal to Rp 53,5 million) for the female that got the impacts from the fire in April in palm oil mill in New Tafo, North Abuakwa. Prof. Opoku-Agyemang handed over the help on behalf of NDC Flag Barrier, Mr. John Mahama.

InfoSAWIT, PADANG — Apical, a vegetable oil company did the first ground breaking in the facility of PT Padang Raya Cakrawala (PRC) on Thursday (4/7/2024). The ceremony started reconstructing new refinery and fractionation plant in Teluk Bayur, City of Padang, West Sumatera Province. The new industry was designed to increase production capacity of Apical to fulfill domestic and international scale demands that keep developing.

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In the implementation of biodiesel mandatory program as it is regulated in Chapter 18, paragraph (1a) President’s Regulation Number 66 / 2018 about the Second Substitution on the President’s Regulation Number 61 / 2015 about Crude palm oil Raising Fund and Utilization, hereby, we would like to inform that the conversion numbers of crude palm oil to be biodiesel would be 85 US dollar/metric ton (MT) and the numbers of market index price (MIP) of vegetable oil (biodiesel) in July 2024 would be Rp 12.161/liter, plus transportation costs that would be effective since on 1 July 2024.

InfoSAWIT, KUALA LUMPUR – Palm oil imports in India got escalated 3% in June to the previous month. It hit the highest level in the past semester. The increasing imports happened for the increasing demands from many distillers to prepare the next festivals and kernel oil that got cheaper than other competitors. Five traders mentioned this information to Reuters.

This would be the same with what Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman ordered to encourage palm oil production and productivity.
