InfoSAWIT, JAMBI – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm in Jambi Province increased again for the September 4–10, 2026 period. Based on the results of the Jambi Provincial Oil Palm FFB Price Determination Team meeting, the FFB price for oil palms aged 10–20 years was set at Rp3,920.27 per kilogram, up Rp6.78 per kilogram from Rp3,913.49 per kilogram in the previous period.
InfoSAWIT, citing the results of the Oil Palm FFB Price Determination Team meeting held on September 3, 2026, at the Jambi Provincial Plantation Agency Hall, reported that the official price determination document states that FFB prices are based on average crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel prices obtained from oil palm companies operating in Jambi Province.
For this period, FFB prices increased across all oil palm age groups. The increase compared with the previous week ranged from Rp6.57 to Rp7.88 per kilogram.
The following are the Jambi Provincial oil palm FFB prices for September 4–10, 2026, based on tree age:
3-year-old oil palms: Rp3,251.18/kg
4-year-old oil palms: Rp3,435.29/kg
5-year-old oil palms: Rp3,515.30/kg
6-year-old oil palms: Rp3,611.12/kg
7-year-old oil palms: Rp3,694.37/kg
8-year-old oil palms: Rp3,750.54/kg
9-year-old oil palms: Rp3,836.59/kg
10–20-year-old oil palms: Rp3,920.27/kg
21-year-old oil palms: Rp3,858.77/kg
22-year-old oil palms: Rp3,768.66/kg
23-year-old oil palms: Rp3,731.38/kg
24-year-old oil palms: Rp3,693.68/kg
25-year-old oil palms: Rp3,651.21/kg
Meanwhile, the average CPO price used as one of the components in the FFB price calculation was set at Rp15,500.77 per kilogram. The average palm kernel price stood at Rp13,218.32 per kilogram.
Under the latest price determination, the K Index was set at 93.54%, while the value of palm shells, or nucleous component (NC), was recorded at Rp21.52 per kilogram.
FFB prices increased across all oil palm age groups. For the 10–20-year-old category, the Rp6.78-per-kilogram increase lifted the FFB price from Rp3,913.49 per kilogram in the previous period to Rp3,920.27 per kilogram for September 4–10, 2026.
The largest increase was recorded for 3-year-old oil palms at Rp7.88 per kilogram, while the smallest increase was recorded for 8-year-old oil palms at Rp6.57 per kilogram. (T2)
