InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) increased to be Rp 11.600/kg on Friday (23/12/2022). It means, it increased Rp 10/Kg compared to Thursday (22/12/2022) tender which was Rp 11.590/kg.
Business practitioner and former Intelligent Market of PTPN 7, Boyke Suratin said, the closing prices at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange in January, February, and March 2023 were RM 3.863, RM 3.886, and RM 3.898 per ton for each. They got cheaper compared to the previous contracts which reached RM 3.914, RM 3.944 and RM 3.960 per ton.
Boyke also mentioned, profit taking and some sentiments made CPO price cheaper. “But the supply issue led the price better,” he said to InfoSAWIT, Friday (23/12/2022).
According to Circulars of KPBN No 225/KPBN/X/02/XII/2022, the tender at KPBN for CPO and rubber would be the last one on 23 December 2022 and would start again on Tuesday (3/1/2023).
What InfoSAWIT got from KPBN, in Belawan, Kuala Tanjung, and Dumai it was Rp 11.600/Kg. In Talang Duku it was Rp 11.400/kg but in withdraw (WD) status with the highest bid Rp 11.300/kg.
In Teluk Bayur it was Rp 11.450/kg but in WD status with the highest bid Rp 11.264/kg.
